Before using the filter, it is advised to soak it in clean tap water for 3 minutes to flush the filter and release the bubbles. The filter has been tested and certified by NSF International against NSF/ANSI standard 42 for the reduction of chlorine, taste, and odor, as well as NSF/ANSI 372 for lead-free material. The AQUACREST faucet water filter utilizes premium natural coconut activated carbon block with a reduction rate of chlorine up to 97.2%. It effectively reduces sediments, large particles, rust, taste, and odor to enhance the drinking experience. However, it is important to note that the filter cannot reduce total dissolved solids (TDS).

This filter has a long-lasting service life and it is recommended to replace it every 3 months for healthy drinking water, although the specific replacement time may vary based on water quality. The filter also provides a stronger water flow and meets the requirements of high efficiency and rapid filtration.

Designed to be a perfect fit and compatible with the original filter without sacrificing quality and standard, the AQUACREST faucet filter is also adaptive to PUR PLUS faucet water filter and interchangeable with PUR RF-9999 faucet water filter.
