Founded in 2014, Simply Gum is a brand that prides itself on crafting natural, high-quality gum and confections. Our story began when our founder, Caron, discovered that most commercial chewing gum contains a synthetic plastic base, rather than natural ingredients. Determined to offer a better alternative, she started making batches of natural gum in her own kitchen, using a tree sap called chicle as the base.

Today, our gum is still produced in our Brooklyn factory by our team of gum chefs. We are committed to using only the best, natural ingredients and avoiding any synthetic or artificial additives. Our gum is certified Kosher, non-GMO, and vegan, as well as being dairy-free, soy-free, and gluten-free (except for our Maple variety).

At the heart of our products is the chicle base, which we proudly use instead of the synthetic "gum base" found in most other chewing gums. Chicle is a natural tree sap that provides a satisfying chew without any plastic or chemical additives.

We also take great care in sourcing our other key ingredients, such as the xylitol used in our Sugar Free Peppermint Gum. This natural sweetener is derived from birch trees and has a similar taste to sugar but with nearly half the calories and a lower glycemic index. Studies have shown that xylitol can even help promote dental health and prevent cavities.

To give our gum its delicious flavors, we use a proprietary blend of steam-distilled essential oils and plant-based extracts, rather than artificial flavorings. Our flavor profiles range from classic Peppermint to more unique blends like Ginger, Cinnamon, and Fennel.
